NISAR SRR/MDR Passed
The NISAR Project held its System Requirements Review / Mission Definition Review (SRR/MDR) on Dec 9-11, 2014. The review is the culmination of Phase A activity, and is intended to demonstrate to a standing review board that the mission as defined has well defined requirements, from science down through subsystems, and that these requirements are achievable within allocated resources. The three-day review was held at JPL, with remote participation by ISRO via video and teleconferencing.
The SRB determined that the project met the success criteria and is ready to proceed to the next Phase. NASA will hold a separate review to review the findings and status of the project and decide on whether to proceed.
